An experienced property developer helped us create these two, three bedroom, detached homes in order to improve the level of housing around his home in Eastwood, Nottingham.

With a traditional foundation in mind we have introduced a pair of clearly contemporary new homes to Eastwood. Reading together as one complete unit we have mirrored the varying pitched sections of each house resulting in an abstracted representation of a traditional gable frontage.

 

Emphasising the verticality of each unit through the addition of cedar cladding above and below each window we have broken up the elevation to add a sense of interest and variety to the street scene.
