In the centre of a residential area in Doncaster on the site of a disused public house and hotel this project proposes a new build development of three retail units and thirteen apartments. Utilising an existing brownfield site within a residential suburb, this is the perfect development site for mixed used commercial retail and residential.

We have designed the elevations in a traditional style with contemporary twists in the form of a two-storey entrance atrium and the repetition of floor to eave glazing throughout. Keeping the design simple but effective with a traditional vernacular style matching that of the surrounding area. Our proposal consists of facing brickwork with accents of smooth render and cedral lap weatherboards, to contrast the large expanse of brickwork.
