Located on the edge of the Lace Market conservation area this tight site presented a great opportunity to add 6 apartments with amenity space on to adjoining offices.

By using a standing seam zinc connection the the existing brick office building would appear disconnected from the proposed brick apartment building, as shown in the visuals above. Although a similar brick was chosen it would be used in a more contemporary style, with the windows & doors having deeper reveals and having less detailed surrounds.

The overall design creates a distinct contemporary addition to the existing traditional style of the offices adjacent.
