The client for this luxury five bedroom home was an experienced self-builder and a returning client to swish, who had exacting standards and an eye for detail.

Creating a T-shaped configuration was key to taking full advantage of daylight in our design. Marking a clear divide between private and open spaces helped us to build a comfortable environment for a growing family. Generous open plan living was a focus of this project with a glazed rear facade capitalizing on the prominence of rear views across the city. 
 

Despite distinct differences to the surrounding buildings this project was granted planning permission upon first application, reinforcing the success of this design.
