A married couple living in a detached 1960s house, benefiting from a large corner plot, were the clients for this contemporary five bedroom new build.

Abstracting the traditional pitched roof form in a contemporary style, and making use of modern materials such as cream render, cedar cladding and split faced tiles allows this design to achieve its full potential. Cheadle Close is a successful example of inside-out living and a contemporary open plan design resulting in a home with longevity for our client.

Carefully considering the design of the roof plan reduced the overbearing impact and overshadowing on neighbouring properties maintaining the continuity of the existing street scene.
